  Indian Embassy organized a B2B Meeting on 14 March 2017 for Indian and Omani companies participating in BIG Show Oman. H.E. Dr. Ali bin Masoud bin Ali Al Sunaidy, Minister of Commerce and Industry of Oman was the Chief Guest at the B2B Meeting.   Embassy of India, Muscat, celebrated Indian Technical amp Economic Cooperation Programme (ITEC) Day 2017 on Monday, 27 February, with presence of over 200 Omani Officials and professionals, who participated in various training courses in India under ITEC Programme during previous years. H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Omar Al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service of Sultanate of Oman was the Chief Guest. Other Omani dignitaries, who attended ITEC Day 2017, included H.E. Amb. Sheikh Hilal Marhoon Salem Al Maamari, Chief of West Asia Department H.E. Mohsin Khamis Al Balushi, Advisor, Ministry of Commerce amp Industry and H.E.   The visiting folk music and dance troupe from Jammu and Kashmir gave its last performance in Salalah, hosted together by the Embassy of India Muscat and Indian Social Club Salalah on 14th February 2017. The performance was witnessed by over 400 Omani and Indian nationals. - February 14, 2017

  An Evening with Indian Folk music and Dance from Jammu amp Kashmir A folk dance and music Troupe from State of Jammu and Kashmir of India gave a scintillating performance on Sunday, 12 February 2017, at Al-Bustan Palace, Muscat. The Troupe presented a rich bouquet of folk dance and Music from different regions of Jammu amp Kashmir, including Sufiana music, Rouff Dance, Hafiznagma dance, Bachha nagma Dance, Dogri dance, Bhoomra Dance etc. The performance was attended by over 600 persons, including diplomats and prominent Omanis and Indians. It was graced by the presence of H.E. Mohammed Yousuf Al Zarafi, Undersecretary for Administration and Finance Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Amb. Sheikh Hilal Marhoon Salem Al Maamari, Chief of West Asia Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sultanate of Oman. The Troupe has also performed in Sohar and Sur and will perform in Salalah on February 14th February 2017.The above performance was organized as a part of the first ever Fest - February 12, 2017
