Blood Donation Camp in Muscat

The Embassy of India, Muscat, in association with Department of Blood Services, Ministry of Health, The Seva Muscat and Indian Social Club, Oman held a blood donation camp at Indian Embassy premises on 03 October 2026, to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
2. The Camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the Indian community and friends of India in Oman, with over 100 eligible donors that came forward and contributed in this humanitarian initiative, demonstrating solidarity, compassion, and a shared commitment to supporting Oman’s healthcare system. The initiative was part of the Sewa Pakhwada Campaign, reaffirming the spirit of service, compassion and humanitarian values.
3. The Embassy of India, Muscat together with Indian Diaspora in Oman regularly organise blood donation drives, medical camps, plantation drives and welfare-oriented initiatives which reflect the deep-rooted friendship and strong people-to-people ties between India and Oman.
4. On the occasion, Ambassador Prashant Pise commended the overwhelming participation by the eligible donors that donated their blood to support blood banks in Oman, as every donation can help save lives. He expressed his sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Health officials, doctors, nurses and medical staff that were present, for their tremendous support and cooperation in successfully organising the blood donation drive at the Embassy.
