As we celebrate International Women’s Day today, we, the members of Indian Embassy in Muscat, re-dedicate ourselves to work towards empowerment of women, ensuring that their right to equality, as guaranteed under Indian Constitution, is respected, protected and promoted. We are determined to work towards creating in India conducive political, economic, social and cultural eco-systems, which will protect, promote and ensure equal rights for our women and girls and their empowerment so that our women and girls are able to make their full contribution in building a New India by 2022, a clean India, which is free of corruption, poverty, terrorism, communalism, casteism. In a ceremony Women colleagues of Indian Embassy were honoured to show our respect and appreciation for their contribution.
