Police Clearance Certificate

• As per instructions in general guidelines a duly filled online application form available at https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/ should be submitted at BLS. All particulars in the application should tally with those in the current passport.

• Two white background photographs.(Please refer to the photo specification mentioned in general guidelines)

• Current Passport in original with photocopy of the first, last, and address page and any other endorsement pages and visa page with additional booklets, if any, also to be produced. A copy of ID card / residence card also to be enclosed.

• Copy of Latest Police Clearance Certificate in English (original to be shown) issued by Oman Police, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sultanate of Oman.

• Request letter from the applicant addressed to the Embassy stating the purpose of obtaining the Police Clearance Certificate.

• All applicants seeking passport or passport related services are required to be physically present at the time of making application in the Sultanate of Oman and should visit in person at BLS Office in Muscat or its mobile collection centres located at Sur, Sohar, Nizwa, Salalah, Buraimi, Khasab, Shinas, Duqm, Ibri and Dibba. This is also applicable for minors.

• Passport will be retained during the tenure of the service.

• PCC would only be issued only after fresh CLEAR police verification report in India. Applicants are required to submit the application well in advance.
