With an objective to establish regular interaction between MEA, Indian Mission and Diaspora, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India launched "Global Pravasi Rishta Portal". The key features of this portal are as follows:
(1) To create a three-way communication between the MEA, Indian Missions & Diaspora.
(2) To facilitate NRIs, OCIs and PIOs community by connecting them to various new and existing government schemes benefiting them in various areas of interest.
(3) To provide updated information on Consular services (Visa, Passport & OCI) and Community Welfare.
(4) Through this portal, Indian Diaspora could also get information on events organized by the Embassy.
2. All Members of Indian Community in Oman are requested to register themselves on the Global Parvasi Rishta Portal. The portal link is : https://pravasirishta.gov.in/home.
3. Steps to register:
(a) Visit https://pravasirishta.gov.in/home
(b) Please select Oman as the “Country/Region”. In the “Select Mission section”, please select Embassy of India, Muscat and click “Submit”:
(c) Click on the “Register” option given on the upper right side of the website to open the “Registration Form.”
(d) Please fill in the details given in the Registration Form to register yourself in the Portal.
