Embassy of India, Muscat, in continuation of its celebration of 70 years of Independence of India, organized a Quiz Contest based on theme “India@70”. Over 200 persons, including 44 teams of 3 participants each from various linguistic wings of Indian Social Club, Oman, actively took part in the contest, which featured questions on India’s freedom struggle, contemporary history and achievements of India during the last 70 years and was aimed at making the participants aware of the progress India has made during seven decades since her independence. The “India@70” contest was organized and conducted by Mrs. Sushmita Gupta.
