Emergency Certificate (Six months validity)

Emergency Certificates are issued in lieu of lost or damaged passports. The form should be duly filled in.

Doccuments Required:

  • As per instructions in general guidelines a duly filled online application form available at https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/,should be submitted at BLS. All particulars in the application should tally with those in the current passport.
  • Three white background photographs. (Please refer to the photo specification mentioned in general guidelines)
  • Any of the following original photo ID ( returnable ) and its photocopy to verify your nationality
  • Expired passport etc.
  • Aadhar card
  • Nativity Certificate issued by Tehsildar, Taluk Office, DM / DC.
  • Ration Card - If your photo is affixed.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Election Identity Card etc
