SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGE

1 Newspaper advertisements (India and Oman) in prescribed formats for marriage solemnization
2 Bridegroom & bride’s original passports & complete set of copies (first page, last page and visa page).  Minimum 3 months valid Indian Passport with resident visa.
3 Witnesses original passports & complete set of copies (first page, last page and visa page). Minimum 3 months valid Indian passports with resident visa.  Witnesses should not be related to each other)
4 Other nationality should attest their documents/NOC and other related documents by their respective Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs
5 Copy of Oman Identity Card/ Labour Card (including witnesses)
6 Applicant Request Letter

(Indian Housemaid/Baby sitter visa holders are not allowed to marry while on house-maid visa.)

30 days’ notice period in the Embassy notice board and newspaper advertisement.
