Nominations for ICCR Distinguished Indologist Award - 2020

Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) seeks nominations for ‘ICCR Distinguished Indologist Award 2020’ to recognize eminent Indologists who have made outstanding contribution to the study / teaching / research in India’s philosophy, thought, history, art, culture, Indian languages, literature, civilization, society etc.

  • Eminent Indologists working outside India are eligible

  • Award includes US$ 20,000, a Citation and a gold plated Medallion. If awarded to more than one person, the amount will be shared equally.

2. Self nomination is not allowed. A person can be nominated in writing by:-

  • Head of Mission abroad

  • Ministries of Foreign Governments responsible for education and/or cultural matters and

  • Presidents / Vice Chancellors / Rectors / Heads of Foreign Universities or Academic Institution in the field of Indology

3. Interested persons may please send a detailed CV, scanned copy of completely filled form, copy of passport and soft copy of passport size photograph latest by 26 January 2020.
