Winners of online Blogging Contest - ‘My Life- My Yoga’
Embassy of India, Muscat, organized a special event on 20th June 2020, on virtual platform, to celebrate the 6th International Day of Yoga (IDY) which saw enthusiastic participation of many Yoga lovers in Muscat. The theme of this year’s IDY celebration was ‘Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family’.
An online Blogging Contest with the theme ‘My Life- My Yoga’ was launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 31st May 2020. With the support of Ministry of Ayush, Indian Council for Cultural Relations and Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India a global contest was organized and entries were invited till 21 June, 2020. A large number of Yoga professionals and Yoga lovers, including children, participated in the contest. Embassy of India would like to appreciate contribution of all Yoga enthusiasts who made the contest a success in the Sultanate of Oman. An eminent panel of Yoga experts have evaluated the entries and recommended their selection to the Embassy.
